Snapchat asked me to create visuals for Malaysia Day. Including creating the entire concept for Mass Snap Animation, Stickers and Filter. This Snap was showcased in Malaysia.
Mass Animation
Malaysia Day is a public holiday held on 16 September every year to commemorate the establishment of the Malaysian federation on the same date in 1963.
Character Design
Three characters represent three main races in Malaysia (Malay, Chinese & Indian).
Storyboard
Concept Design
The celebrations of Malaysia Day primarily include national ceremonies that celebrate the strength of Malaysians. Starting with "Happy Malaysia Day" letters morphing into three ribbons that bring the Malaysia Day celebration journey around Malaysia.
Sticker
The design was inspired by Malaysian culture, national flag and elements that we can find during the Malaysia Day celebration.
Filter
The filter design was inspired by architecture in George Town, Malaysia's third most populous city, known as Malaysia's gastronomic capital for its distinct and ubiquitous street food.
