Snapchat asked me to create visuals for Indonesia's Independence Day 2020. Including creating the entire concept for Mass Snap Animation, Stickers and Filter. This Snap was showcased in Indonesia.
Mass Animation
Indonesia Independence Day, colloquially known as tujuhbelasan or 17-an means "seventeenth" in Bahasa Indonesia.
It's a joyous celebration filled with activities. After the flag ceremony in the morning, people usually organise various games and competitions for children and adults. One of the games is the gunny sack race, which inspired the design of mass animation.

The design was inspired by Indonesian nature, games, national flag and elements that we can find during the Independence Day celebration.
Filter
People who live on the coastline celebrate independence day with Jukung boat race. Jukung is a traditional wooden outrigger canoe. The boat is popular in Bali, normally be used as a fishing boat.
